Steamed Egg Custard

 

Steamed Egg Custard

Serve 3 – 4.

 

Ingredients:

2/3 cup hot water 

1/3 cup evaporated milk

¼ cup sugar 

4 eggs 

 

Method:

1. Dissolve sugar with hot water. Set aside to cool.

2. In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs lightly.

3. Whisk in the cool syrup and evaporated milk.

4. Strain the egg mixture thru a fine sieve.

5. Bring mixture to steam for 15 – 20 minutes. Serve hot.
